๐ฟ Everwind Skill Tree Guide โ All Branches, Nodes & Best Builds
The Skill Tree is Everwind's primary character progression system. There are no locked classes โ every player starts identical and shapes their playstyle entirely through Skill Point investment. Points are earned by killing enemies and completing dungeons. Three branches define the three archetypes: Combat (Warrior), Building (Engineer), and Processing (Arcanist / Crafter). You can invest freely across all three branches, but specializing early gives a significant advantage in the first 10 hours of play. This guide lists every known node, explains each branch's synergies, and recommends the best builds for each playstyle.
๐ How the Everwind Skill Tree Works
Before investing any Skill Points, understand these five rules. The respec cost is high enough that a misinformed early investment can set you back 5โ10 hours of boss farming.
| Mechanic | Detail |
|---|---|
| Skill Points earned by | Killing enemies (1 pt per ~20 kills at Altitude 1), completing dungeons (2โ3 pts per clear), and clearing boss encounters (3โ5 pts per boss). |
| No class lock | All three branches are always available. You can respec by spending a Respec Token (crafted at Alchemy Station: 4 Crystal Shards + 2 Rare Metal Scraps). |
| Node prerequisites | Most Tier 2 and Tier 3 nodes require investing a minimum number of points in lower-tier nodes first. Tier 3 nodes require 8 points in that branch. |
| Respec cost | Respec Tokens are expensive โ Crystal Shards only drop from Altitude 2+ bosses. Plan your build before spending points in Tier 2+. |
| Co-op synergy | In 4-player co-op, one Combat, one Building, one Processing, and one hybrid player creates the strongest team composition. |

๐ Respec Guide
Respec Tokens are crafted at the Alchemy Station using 4 Crystal Shards + 2 Rare Metal Scraps. Crystal Shards only drop from Altitude 2 bosses (2โ4 per kill) and Rare Metal Scraps from Altitude 2 ruins. This makes your first respec possible around the 10โ15 hour mark. Use the Early Survivor build until then โ it remains viable into Altitude 2 entry and transitions smoothly into any of the other three builds via respec.
