No. Everwind is currently PC-only (Steam). Console versions have not been announced as of March 2026.

Standard Edition: $24.99 (with a 10% Early Access launch discount). Capybara Edition: $49.99, includes cosmetic extras and is only available during Early Access. A Supporter Pack (OST, wallpapers, story PDF) is also available separately.

The Capybara Edition is purely cosmetic — it includes an exclusive main menu look, two fur-themed outfit sets, a gold capybara statue, a capybara balloon skin and styled furniture. It offers no gameplay advantage. Only purchase if you want the cosmetics and want to support the developers. It is only available during Early Access.

Controller support is listed as partial in Early Access. Mouse and keyboard is the primary input method. Full controller support is planned for a future update.

Everwind supports player-hosted dedicated servers. Server files are available via SteamCMD. Third-party hosting providers (including Game Host Bros) also offer managed Everwind servers from launch.

Yes. Enemy HP and damage scale with the number of players in the session. Boss encounters become harder with more players but drop more loot — each player receives their own full loot drops from boss chests.

Yes. The host invites friends via Steam. All players share the same world state — resources gathered and buildings placed by any player persist for everyone.

PvP is not a feature in the current Early Access version. Everwind is designed as a cooperative survival experience.

You need five components: Cockpit (10 Wood Planks + 4 Copper Ingots), Engine (8 Copper Ingots + 6 Iron Ingots), Balloon ×2 (12 Cloth each), Energy Generator (6 Ancient Metal Scraps + 4 Copper Ingots), and Airship Core (12 Copper Ingots + 4 Ancient Metal Scraps). Upgrade your Airship Core to unlock higher altitude limits. Core Level 1 reaches Altitude 1 (~400m). Core Level 2 requires Iron Ingots + Ancient Metal Scraps and unlocks Altitude 2 (~900m). Core Level 3 requires Rare Metal Scraps + Crystal Shards and unlocks Altitude 3 (~1,800m).

Asymmetric Balloon placement causes tilting. Always place Balloons in mirrored pairs on both sides of the ship's centerline. Also ensure the Airship Core is placed at the center of mass of the ship's structure.

Ancient Metal Scraps are found exclusively in ruined structures on Altitude 1 islands — collapsed towers, underground chambers and dungeon rooms. They do not respawn. Always fully loot every ruin before leaving an island.

In the current Early Access version, the maximum altitude is approximately 1,800m (Altitude 3) reached with a Core Level 3 airship. Higher altitude zones are planned for future updates.

Craft a Clay Pot (6 Clay) and combine it with Tainted Water over a Campfire to produce Clean Water. For faster production, build a Water Purifier (12 Stone + 6 Copper Ingots — Blueprint required from ruined cabins).

Build a Furnace (10 Stone + 4 Clay), gather Copper Ore from orange-tinted outcrops on cliff faces at Altitude 1, then smelt 2 Copper Ore → 1 Copper Ingot. Use Coal instead of Wood for 3× fuel efficiency.

The Forge Blueprint is a guaranteed one-time drop from the first clear of the Steamer Mine Complex dungeon in the Rotten Island biome at Altitude 2. You need the Forge to smelt Iron Ore into Iron Ingots.

Craft Cloth at the Carpenter Station: 4 Fiber → 1 Cloth. Fiber is harvested from tall grass and bushes everywhere at Altitude 1. You need 12 Cloth per Balloon, so stock up early.

The Cooking Station converts raw food into cooked meals that restore HP and apply timed stat buffs. Cooked food can grant +15% Max Health, +20% Stamina Recovery, or +10% damage for 5 minutes. Raw food gives minimal restoration with no buffs.

Hold your Shield (right mouse button) and time the raise to the last frame before an enemy attack lands. A successful parry staggers the enemy for 1.5 seconds at zero stamina cost. Invest in the 'Parry Window +' Skill Tree node early to widen the timing window.

Equipped armor and weapons are kept on death. Your backpack inventory (resources, food, potions, loot) is dropped at your death location and despawns after 10 minutes. Return quickly to recover it.

Parry his heavy attack (second hit of his combo) to stagger him, then counter with 2–3 light attacks. At 50% HP he summons 3 Skeleton adds — kill all adds before resuming boss damage. Guaranteed drop: Rune of Swiftness.

Phase 1 (ranged): stay mobile, dodge spirit projectiles laterally, use a Bow for damage. Phase 2 (melee): watch for the teleport flash behind you, dodge roll immediately, then parry his first melee strike. Guaranteed drop: Rune of Elements.

Phase 1: dodge roll sideways to avoid ground shockwaves, or jump over the shockwave ripple. Phase 2: target the glowing orange weak spots on chest and shoulders with a Staff for 2× damage. Phase 3: conserve Healing Potions for the enrage. Bring 10+ potions minimum.

Runes are permanent stat bonuses socketed into weapons and armor at the Smithing Station (requires the Rune Socketing Table Blueprint from the Grimver pyramid). Each item has 1–3 slots. Runes cannot be removed once socketed — choose carefully.

Everwind is set on a world of floating islands organized into vertical altitude layers. The world is shaped by the ruins of at least two ancient civilizations: the Grimver (stone-builders, jungle biome) and the Steamers (industrialists, rotten island biome). Players explore their ruins for Blueprints, loot and lore.

The Grimver were an ancient stone-building civilization. Their ruins include stone pyramids, giant swords driven into the earth, and bamboo village remnants scattered through the Jungle biome. The Grimver pyramid basement contains the Rune Socketing Table Blueprint.

Yes. The developer roadmap includes expanded world lore, more civilization ruins, new biomes and additional story content. The current Early Access version contains foundational lore through environmental storytelling in ruins and dungeon layouts.

The developers have stated at least 1 year of Early Access development is planned. The roadmap includes new islands, farming systems, new enemy types, expanded crafting and additional altitude zones.
