Dungeons are Everwind's most rewarding content โ they contain Blueprints unavailable anywhere else, guaranteed rune drops from bosses, and the Crystal Shards needed for Alchemy and Airship Core Level 3 upgrades. Every altitude zone has its own dungeon type with unique layouts, enemy compositions and boss encounters. This guide covers how to find dungeons, how to navigate each type, every known boss strategy, and the full loot tables for each dungeon tier.
๐ How to Find Dungeons in Everwind
Dungeons do not appear on any map โ you must explore each island systematically. The three methods below cover every dungeon entrance type in the current Early Access version.

Five distinct dungeon types exist across Everwind's altitude zones. Each has a unique layout, enemy composition and loot profile. Read the relevant dungeon entry before your first run โ knowing the layout saves significant time and avoids unnecessary deaths.
Surface Vault

Grimver Pyramid

Steamer Mine Complex
Alt. 2 Large (10โ15 rooms) HighLayout: Branching underground mine network. Multiple dead-ends conceal loot chests. Central shaft connects all levels. Toxic gas fills certain tunnel sections โ requires Poison Resistance or timed sprints.

Ancient Tomb (Swamp)
Alt. 2 Medium (6โ8 rooms) HighLayout: Subterranean tomb network. Flooded corridors slow movement by 30%. Multiple Skeleton King spawns โ one per major tomb chamber (2โ3 chambers per dungeon). Highest rune drop rate of any dungeon.

Desert Underground City
Alt. 3 Very Large (20+ rooms) Very HighLayout: Multi-district underground city carved into the underside of a floating desert island. Districts are: Residential, Market, Citadel. The Golem Boss Chamber is in the Citadel district. Each district has its own mini-boss.

| ๐ก Tips | Do not rush through the city. Sand Crawlers burst from the ground with no warning โ walk slowly in new rooms. The Golem Boss has glowing elemental weak spots on its chest and shoulders โ target these with a Staff for 2ร damage. Bring 10+ Healing Potions minimum. |

๐ Boss Strategies โ All Everwind Bosses
Every Everwind boss has predictable phase transitions and exploitable attack patterns. Study the phase breakdown below before engaging โ especially the Massive Golem Boss at Altitude 3, which has the most complex multi-phase pattern in the game.
Skeleton King

Wraith Lord

๐ฅ Co-Op Dungeon Tips
Everwind scales dungeon enemy HP with player count but also scales loot. Each player receives their own full loot drops from boss chests โ making co-op the most efficient way to farm runes and blueprints. See the FAQ for more co-op details.
Assign roles before entering: one player shields/tanks, one deals damage, one manages healing potions and alchemy.
In co-op, enemy HP scales up but loot scales up equally โ each player receives full loot drops from boss chests.
The Wraith Lord is significantly easier in co-op โ one player maintains ranged pressure while the other handles Phase 2 melee.
The Massive Golem Boss in co-op adds a second weak spot pattern โ both players should use Staves in Phase 2 for maximum weak spot damage.
Communication is critical in the Steamer Mine โ the branching layout causes players to get separated. Designate a rally point at each junction.
